Screenshots for the Apple App Store
For your Apple app store listing, you have to upload at least one screenshot for each required device in the App Store Connect. However, the maximum number of images that can be uploaded for each device is 10.
If your app is available in multiple languages, you can localize your app store screenshots. This way users know right away that they can use the app in their language and they understand the features that you are presenting. We recommend localizing the screenshots, they will help you grow your user base.

- Your app screenshots’ corners will be rounded automatically;
- If you upload a video it will appear first. However, the first screenshots will remain visible on some devices. We advise to create an app video, we will create an article about the app store videos to help you get started.

- 6.5 inch (iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11, Xs Max, XR) 1242 x 2688 px – required
- 5.8 inch (iPhone 11 Pro, X, Xs ) 1125 x 2436 px (scalable from 6.5 inch screens) – optional
- 5.5 inch (iPhone 6s Plus, 7 Plus, 8 Plus) 1242 x 2208 px (if needed, 4.7 inch screenshots can be scaled from these) – required
- Apple Watch (series 3, 4 and 5) 312 x 390 px or 368 x 448 px – required

Screenshots for the Google Play Store
For your Google Play Store listing, you have fewer materials to prepare. In your Google Play Console, you can upload min 2 screenshots but no more than 8 screenshots for each supported device.
The screenshots have to be created according to some requirements from Google. These are only a few, you can see an easy overview below or read more here:
- The file format has to be JPG or 24-bit PNG;
- The screenshots’ size has to be between 320 px and 3840 px;
Screenshots are localizable on Android as well and the same rule applies to promo videos – they appear before the app store screenshots.

Screenshots for the Google Play Store
Google Play Featured Graphic
The feature graphic is a mandatory asset for publishing your app on the Google Play Store. This asset is used to showcase your app in different featured categories on Google Play Store, such as trending or top-grossing app categories.
Right after publishing, your app can get featured in one of the “New” categories. Your feature graphic should showcase your app and attract new users.
Note: your app icon won’t always appear next to your feature graphic.
- Format – JPEG or 24-bit PNG
- Dimension – the featured graphic should be 1024px x 500px
