Cobalt Sign Office – Plants, Decorations and a Personal Touch

Cobalt Sign office is all about having a great time with the team in a relaxing, happy vibe, with lots of plants, natural light and 💯 good music.

Every desk has a bit of grass on it to bring nature a bit closer, and used as support for smartphones, keys or sunglasses. 😃

The rope decorations are hand made and were selected for their natural and original look and feel, that also go well with the cobalt colour of our branding.

Sometimes we make the decorations together – as a team – like the paper origami cranes and the ‘Ready Set Holiday!’ stone and moss logo.  This way, we give it a more personal touch and we enjoy time off coding and doing some crafting.

We had the iOS, Android and Windows logos cut out by us and placed in the windows.

We like plants so we got lots of them, different species, and placed them hanging all over the office, but also on our desks and around them.

On one of the walls, we had our innitial Cobalt Sign logo made out of brown cork and blue felt. On the opposing wall we created and displayed our team’s favourite quote – a motivational & representative sentence made out of ropes – “Don’t stop until you’re proud.”

And finally, we gave our workspace a cozy touch with the cloud puff lamps and warm white light.

The Zen Room is where we gather to discuss and relax, and it is inspired by Arthur’s passion for tea, so it had to be zen-like. This room has lots of zen decorations, such as Buddha statues, a shoji screen, origami cranes, ceramic tea set, natural bamboo, comfy sofa and chairs and framed Feng Shui kanji principles, candles, a zen garden and paper lamps.

Most of them are handmade and the general color palette matches Japanese simplicity with black & white with touches of red and natural wood.
