How To Web Conference Agenda
The web conference took place in Bucharest, at the Grand Cinema. The event agenda for this year included some remarkable entrepreneurs and professionals. All of them had strong insights and very useful information to share.
There were two tracks “Startup Stage” and “Growth Stage”, both containing quality talks and panels. The motto was “no sales talks, no BS”.
Furthermore, I really enjoyed the talks about growth hacking by Sujan Patel and about marketing tools & tactics by Travis Wright. Other insightful talks were held by Bram Kanstein and Martin Ericksson about building communities and products. Moreover, all the presentations and panels about accelerators, investments and funding contained a lot of useful information.
Above all, the investors and speakers were friendly and open to discussions, Arthur and I really enjoyed networking.
The How To Web Conference Venue
The venue for the event was a cinema, Grand Cinema in Baneasa Shopping City. I think this is quite an unusual place for a conference.
However, there was comfortable seating, great sound system quality, cozy lounges and rooms. Considering all this, it was definitely a good choice.
Telekom provided excellent WiFi and a relaxing coffee break area. Therefore, the only downside was the “darker” atmosphere.
The Mobile App
How To Web Meet, the official mobile app for the conference was very useful for networking during the event.
The features included profiles for all attendees, the agenda and a message center to connect & talk with people.
Startups and Gadgets
The Startup Spotlight competition included well-prepared startups. The winner of the Best Startup Award was Branch Track. This is a “SaaS that creates interactive customer simulations for scenario-based learning that improves sales, customer care, leadership”.
Another key point was the dedicated expo area for hardware startups and products. This way, they could showcase during the entire event. Some of the names present were: Vector Watch, Scooterson, Axosuits, Bitdefender Box, Symme 3D and Codie.
