PLAI 2019
Grab the Apps and Have Fun at the Festival
As the second weekend of September approaches, we are getting ready the PLAI Festival apps for PLAI 2019, the 14th edition of the festival. Every year, we are eagerly working on the apps, polishing them for a weekend full of music, arts and culture at the Banat Village Museum in Timișoara.
Last year, during our internship program, we rewrote the apps and updated their design & functionalities. So, this year, we only had to update the contents of the apps and make small adjustments to get them ready for PLAI 2019.
We started updating the apps recently. We replaced the contents of the app with the latest festival info such as performing artists, workshops & events and added the new map. PLAI 2019 will be taking place at the same location but in a different part of the Banat Village Museum.
Besides the usual content update, we added a new type of notification. You might already know that all the events that you mark as favourites in the app will appear in the “Favourites” tab in chronological order. We added this new notification which will give you a heads up for each upcoming event. This way, you won’t miss out on any concert or workshop you want to attend during PLAI 2019.
The festival is definitely one of our favourite events in the city as it brings the community together for a few days. The vibe of the festival is really great and you get to meet a lot of amazing people, go to cool workshops and listen to international artists.
