Hello App

We organised the 5th edition of Hello App (formerly Mobile Summer). Hello App is our free app development event, organised for students from Timișoara.

PLAI Festival Apps

During the internships we organise, we work on community apps. This year we rewrote the PLAI Festival apps in React Native. Also, we redesigned the apps and updated their set of functionalities.

Supporting Local Contests

We continued supporting local contests with a focus on app development. We are happy to see the community grow. 🙂

New alchemists

Our team is growing bigger and bigger. Two new members joined our team this year.

Mobile Summer Is Now Hello App

Mobile Summer got a new name and looks and became Hello App. We rebranded our app coding sessions to be able to organize them any time of the year and maintain the same focus: apps.

Team Building in Prague

We organized our city break style team building in Prague, where we visited the city and attended the top-notch mDevCamp conference.

New office

We relocated our office in a beautiful apartment in an early 20th-century building in the city centre.

Ready Set Holiday! For Apple Watch

We developed the Apple Watch app for Ready Set Holiday!. Now, you can keep track of your countdown on your watch.

New Set of Features

We added Romanian and Hungarian languages into the app, we designed a profile page and an intro for first-time users.

Unsplash Partnership

We integrated beautiful photography backgrounds from Unsplash for our users.

1.8 million downloads

We’re happy to have almost doubled our app’s downloads this year.

[Cobalt Matters] Sessions

We continued our Cobalt Matters sessions. Here, we gather to discuss programming related topics and share our knowledge about new technologies with the rest of the team.

ShipIt Days

We organized ShipIt Days, an internal competition where we teamed up and worked on out pet projects for 2 days. Moreover, the winners received 2 Google Homes.

7 years of Cobalt Sign

We celebrated our 7th anniversary at Ambasada, where we enjoyed a nice, homemade dinner and a glass of champagne.

Cheers to 2019

We went to play pool and bowling, followed by dinner and a toast for the year that passed. We are looking forward to new experiences.
